Loren’s passion is giving actors the skills go after their dreams and succeed in the businesses of acting and life. Her clients have been seen on television in Malcolm in the Middle, on film in Norbit with Eddie Murphy, on stage in Deaf West’s National Tour of Big River, as well as in numerous commercials.
Loren’s students have gone on to study in the drama programs of Milliken Middle School, Hamilton Performing Arts, Boston College, NYU, and Emerson College, as well as, being finalists in the Irene Ryan Awards. Her teaching credentials include performing arts camps on the East Coast, StudiOne in Sherman Oaks and Glendale Community College. Currently she is the Program Director for the Lankershim Arts Center - Acting Program where she teaches adults and children ages 7 – 17.
The Youth Acting Program has participated in the West Hollywood Book Fair, North Hollywood Arts Scene, St. Francis Elementary School Fair and the Colfax Elementary School Fair. Loren has spoken at many of the local school Career Days, such as Providence High, Notre Dame High and Mayfield Senior School.
A graduate of the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women and has a Master’s Degree from the Tony award winning, Trinity Rep Conservatory, Loren has directed over twenty critically acclaimed theatre productions on both the East and West Coasts. Her award-winning film, Cries from Ramah, won “Best Short Film” at the Sedona International Film Festival, “Best of the Fest” at the Rochester International Film Festival and qualified for the 79th Academy Awards.
